47 Labs Flatfish CD Transport

One of the coolest pieces of Audio equipment you’ll ever set eyes on, the Flatfish is also the core of my favorite digital CD playback systems. The flatfish is suspended on three pillars with a solid slab of aluminum supporting the drive mechanism the minimal surface and high mass cut vibration that effect the signal coming off your favorite disc. Requires one Power Dumpty power supply.

The Progression and Progression/Gemini D/A converters

The Progression D/A converter utilizes a no over-sampling circuit to produce the most natural, open and Analog-like sound we’ve heard from any digital playback system.  If you want to take it to the next level then buy the Progression Gemini D/A which is essentially a dual mono version of the Progression converter. With the Gemini you can add up to 2 Power Dumpty power supplies, one for each channel. Truly a state of the art digital decoder, the 47 Labs  can also be hooked to the digital out of your computer.

47 Labs Shigaraki Transport

The Shigaraki comes in a ceramic case made in the Japanese town of Shigaraki. It is essentially a progression D/A converter housed in a ceramic chassis and driven by a less expensive power supply. The Shigaraki is the perfect mate for the Shigaraki transport. An outstanding value, the Shigaraki D/A can also be hooked up directly to your computer to get the most of your files.

Prima Luna Prologue 8 Tube CD Player

Recently receiving a stellar review in Stereophile magaizine, the Prologue 8 CD Player is the smoothest and least digital sounding CD players you will ever hear at its $2,500 asking price. By incorporating a low-noise mini-triode vacuum tube into the digital clock, this boldly conceived design provides vastly superior resolution, detail retrieval, improved clarity, increased definition and detail from top to bottom.  The sound stage depth on this baby is unbelievable!

Naim HDX Server

The world's first, performance-upgradeable, audiophile hard disk player HDX is first and foremost a music player. Like a conventional music storage device it reads audio data from a CD, copying and storing it to hard disk. That is where the convention ends though. When a CD is inserted in the HDX disc drawer it is read repeatedly until a bit-perfect CD-quality copy of the audio is obtained. This is then stored onto the HDX's 1TB hard drive, which provide a capacity for over 1200 CDs. Thanks to an Internet connection, your HDX will automatically catalogue your CDs at artist, album and track level, enabling the simplest search and selection when you come to play your music, which of course is replayed with an utterly uncompromised sound quality. HDX is IP-enabled and will connect to your home network to form the heart of an IP-enabled multi-room set up, allowing access to your HDX-stored music throughout your home. HDX can also be controlled remotely via your iPhone with the HDX app, which is available to purchase from the app store.
